Diversity Perspectives is an experienced troupe of professional actors and facilitators who deliver unique skits designed to explore various social and cross-cultural situations from a variety of points of view. The audience members become active participants in each scene, enabling them to encounter “difference” firsthand.

Since 2004 we have created customized programs to cater to specific professional development and student character development needs. Our past programs have included skits and activities to train in the following areas of global competence and social issues:

  • Attentiveness to Diversity
  • Stereotyping: the pitfalls of assumption and the pain of being labeled
  • Open-Mindedness
  • Empathy
  • Intercultural Capability
  • Global Awareness
  • Cliques, Popularity, and Inclusion/Exclusion
  • Bullying and Hate Crimes
  • Socioeconomic Status Variance
  • Collaboration Across Cultures
  • Self-Awareness and Perceptions Abroad: how others may see American people and culture
